Book sales:  Michele Pieters will try to organize a book sale for November.

President’s report:  Phyllis Marion, president for life, presented a form to assist in recruiting volunteers for the New bookstore. The form is two sided with hours volunteers would like to work on back.

City would like to organize a symbolic book passing from the old library to the new.  Group consensus is that we should participate and a request/notification to members will be sent out. No date or time has been set by city.

The agreement with the foundation was discussed. More work on agreement is required by foundation.  Hopefully will have proposed agreement to show friends board next month.

We all ran out of things to say and went home.
