- Fri, 8/12 10:00 AM: Special story time with Assembly member Chris Ward. Sparkles the Clown and her colleague will also do face painting or balloon animals. Every child who attends will receive a free book.

- Mon, 8/15 6:30 PM: Dixie Hall, the founder and owner of Dixie Pops will speak about the founding and history of her shop. She may even bring free samples!

- Mon, 8/22 6:30 PM: Major Wine Regions of California, a presentation by Oasis instructor and wine consultant Eric Awes

- Tues, 8/30 noon: Concert by a faculty member from Villa Musica
