Hi,
June is an exciting time at the library, because it’s the start of our Summer Reading Program. Kids, teens, and adults can all earn prizes by reading and visiting the library.
You can sign up online beginning June 1 at:
https://www.sandiego.gov/public-library/kidsandteens/summerreading
or pick up a paper reading log at the library.
We’ll have a Summer Reading Program kick-off pizza party for kids and their families on Saturday, June 1, from 11 AM to 1 PM, and then we’ll have a special event for kids each Friday at 10 AM through the end of August.
We also have lots of other great events in June, such as an Ethnic Studies presentation by Professor Natalye Harpin on June 1 at 2:30 PM.
