Adults
- Saturday, 5/9, at noon: At Home with the Marstons: The Legacy of the Marston House. Learn about the design and history of the Marston House Museum in Balboa Park, and receive free passes.
- Saturday, 5/16, at 2:30pm: Nature Prints with ToshWerks. Make beautiful prints using the sun’s rays. For teens and adults. Please sign up.
- Saturday, 5/16, at 4:00pm: Author Talk: I Don’t Like Mondays: The True Story Behind America’s First Modern School Shooting by N. Leigh Hunt. Learn about the famous 1979 school shooting in the San Carlos neighborhood of San Diego.
- Friday, 5/22, at 1:00pm: Dementia 101 with Alzheimer’s San Diego. Learn about cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s Disease, and other dementias.
- Saturday, 5/23, at 4:30pm: Introduction to iNaturalist: Getting Started with Community Science. Learn how to use the iNaturalist smartphone app to have fun learning about plants, insects, and animals while contributing to science.
Kids
- Saturday, 5/9, at 3:30pm: Mother’s Day Paint and Sip. Moms and their kids can express their creativity through painting while enjoying refreshments. Please sign up.
- Saturday, 5/16, at 10:00am: Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Storytime ft Sam Paguita. This Pride Storytime is a welcoming event for families to celebrate diversity.
